OVERVIEW OF CHURCH BODY
Cobleskill Wesleyan Church is an evangelical, contemporary, purpose-driven, and community minded church that is a member of the Wesleyan denomination. We are seeking a new lead pastor who will help guide us on to the next step of growth that God has for us. Over the last 3 years we have experienced some significant transitions and miracles take place that have helped us to cement God’s purpose for our body which is “to share God’s story with every generation of our community in as many relevant ways as possible, to develop fully devoted followers of Christ.”
We are passionate about Christ, and telling His story of redemption to a lost community in relevant ways so we are searching for a lead pastor who will help us to carry this message to our community in bigger and more effective ways. Our weekly attendance is consistently over 200, pushing near the 250 mark and we currently have a number of ministries that exist to be successful at achieving our goal of reaching “just one more, at any cost!” Our lead pastor will oversee the following ministries, all of which currently have leadership teams in place: Worship, Youth, Children, Bikers, Prayer, Small Groups, Sunday School, Athletics, Young Adults, Best Year’s Fellowship (Seniors), and our iCare ministry (visitation).
