Job Description:
Children's pastor will oversee and provide leadership for children ages birth to sixth grade. Provide insight and implementation of Sunday School initiatives and Awana's on Sunday and Wednesday specifically. Expected to work along side Senior Pastor in helping carry out the overall vision of the church through children's ministry. Will also be guiding the volunteer and equipping of workers for pre-school and children's.
A bachelor's degree is preferred as well as 1-3 years of valuable experience in the specific field. The children's pastor should be a male, and it is preferable that he is married. Applicant should be in line with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000). We are a church with a new senior pastor who believes in a team ministry approach to reach our community for Christ.
